Long time reggae fan, it’s by the year 1998 that Mael discovers jungle drum and bass in Paris` underground venues. Fascinated by the energy spread by that music, he quickly gets involved in the movement.
After starting djing in 2000, he co-founds the Fengchao crew in 2001 (with is soul brother dj Fu-Zion and a few other serious music addicts), an association of djs playing various genres such as drum and bass of course, but also reggae, dancehall, dub, hip hop, house, funk, and breakbeat. The idea is to throw parties representing all styles that influenced the crew.
A first trip to China on that same year leads Mael to get his first gigs in Kunming (Yunnan province), in local hotspots like Camel bar and the Hump.
Back in France, he plays in several Parisian bars and venues (espace des Peupliers, Bushwhacker, Trucmush, Lizard Lounge), and abroad during his regular trips to Asia (DDM Club, Bangkok).
In 2003 he meets dj Pitch In and his team: the Kazabasse crew, and starts collaborating to the Kazabasse parties: “Beware” @ Enjoy Cafe, and “Rewind” @ Caves Lechapelais.

Back in China in 2004, Mael is this time seriously determined to bring his selection and carries a huge load of records with him !!! Setting up in Kunming, he introduces drum and bass by playing all around the city (resident @ Fever from September to December 2004, resident @ Top One from January to March 2005).
Since then, he has been representing his various influences by playing all over China as guest dj in different cities (Chengdu: Bass in your face; Beijing @ Cargo; Nanjing & Suzhou @ Seven Club…), and by organising his own events in Kunming: Re-Evolution of Sound (New Year’s Eve 2004 with guest dj Pitch In), Soundclash parties with dj DSK, and Fast Forward parties with guests like dj Joe, vj Aquarius, MC Tenzin (Chengdu), dj Clart (Singapore), XTRX & Mr Reve , Pitch-In and Taiwan MC, Miss ill (France), dj Gero (French DMC champion 2003 & 2004)…And more to come.

Resident and co-producer of monthly Loaded parties @ Cargo in Beijing since March 2006, Mael goes on spreading the good word of drum and bass by inviting French major jungle artists.

Au départ bassiste, Pitch-In commence à mixer fin 90 et intègre en 2003 le collectif Kazabasse, organisateur des soirees “Rewind”.
Ses sets péchus lui ont valus de beaucoup voyager, il revient d’ailleurs de 2 grosses tournées en Chine à travers tout le pays effectuée fin 2005 et juillet 2006.

Aujourd’hui, Pitch-In est présent sur les plus grands évènements de la capitale, "MASSIVE" au REX CLub, "I LOVE JUNGLE LIMITED" au Cabaret Sauvage, "BLACK LABEL" au Trabendo, "DB UNIT" au Triptyque, avec le "SANTA Crew" au Nouveau Casino et régulièrement au Batofar.

Le plus souvent accompagné de Taiwan, son MC, nouvelle valeur sure française, aux influences reggae/rub-a-dub.

Frais et énergiques leurs sets sont toujours très appreciés.

Activist of the Jungle and Drum&Bass stage since 1999, Ziloub has been able to develop his own musical touch and sound. He is quite simply fascinated for this musical style.

At first, Ziloub made himself conspicuous when performing around Paris, and especially in the region of Caen (Brittany) where he participated as Dj at many gigs with the Full Time Mix crew and in Cherbourg (recently at "Drum Dna 3" party, with Science and Mc Big Red) as well in Le Havre. On his way back to Paris, he met the members of Audiovenum Label, with La Pieuvre, Francky Brown, Mama-Lü with whom everything went off smoothly, they played together from parties to parties in a share and exchange spirit.

At that time, he played at :
Le Triptyque, Batofar, Glaz'Art, Nouveau Casino, Le Cithéa, La Flêche d'Or, Le Babalu, Le Nautilus (Bordeaux), L’Arts Café (Le Havre), L’Ubu (Caen), Le Farniente (Caen), Le Kalif (Rouen), Le File 7, le Détour (Lille), la Fée Verte (Lyon), La Grange à Musique, La Pointe Lafayette, La Plage, Le Boxers, and many more ...

with artists such as :
La Pieuvre, Science, Mc Big Red, Chacal 900, Francky Brown, Kolsik, Anakyne, Otis, Raslion Mc, Mousschemist, Monolythe, Mc Sista Scotie, Olivia Lfx, Miss Drop, Fx909, Ebola, Lord Bitum, Taiwan Mc, T-Rex, Dj Panik, Earsur, Mama-Lü, and many others...
He learnt to face any conditions, playing not only liquid and funky for warmups but also atmospheric, dynamic and hardstep for middles and ends of parties, following always the atmospheres of the dancefloor. Ziloub can adapt himself to almost all influences and Jungle & Drum'n'Bass styles.
This is why he became one of the principal actors of the drumandbass in France.

In 2002, he founded an association called Opal, and began to organize gigs in Paris and in the North of France (Cherbourg / Caen / Le Havre / Rouen / Lille). He also participates at many shows on webradios, like Mediagong (the best electronic webradio in Paris) and brings for the first time broadcasts exclusively breakbeat, jungle and drum'n'bass.
In the same time, he organised the “Break Ring” parties in Paris with various DJs/producers of the French drum’and’bass scene.

This experience brings him to create his own independent webradio that came to life in 2005: Beatbreakerz.com during which Ziloub regularly leads live shows with artists he already shared his passion.
